With over 25 years of experience Daphne began her therapeutic work by providing art therapy and resilience skills for children and young people in detention, residential and foster care and community based art programs to help young people to develop self confidence. She has offered psychotherapy and child and adolescent mental health assessments since 1996 and has worked in private practice since 2007. Daphne has worked with a wide range of clients as a senior clinician and a trainer working with child and adolescent psychiatrists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, mental health nurses, psychologists, social workers and qualified counsellors. She has provided supervision for over 70 clinical and non-clinical staff and for Social Work students for Edith Cowan University.
Daphne has predominantly worked for the Health Department of Western Australia in Child Development and Child and Adolescent Mental Health services and has provided Clinical Supervision in a dedicated Professional Excellence team supervising over 40 counselling, clinical and qualified support professionals. She has run personal growth groups for various populations of all age ranges for many years. As a trainer she has provided experiential art based therapeutic teaching groups for professionals and for staff of human, social and community based services. Daphne has completed many years of training in various psychotherapies before focussing on mindful creativity, Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. She brings energy, passion and enthusiasm offering creative tools for change.

Daphne is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker specialising in child and adolescent mental health. She has over 25 years clinical experience working with individuals and families.

Daphne utilises a range of therapeutic approaches including cognitive based and other systems therapies.
Daphne maintains a private practice, with offices at South Fremantle and Claremont. She is registered to provide psychological services by Medicare Australia mainly through the Better Access mental health program. Daphne provides mental health assessments, psychotherapy and case management for children and adolescents and their families experiencing complex problems including depression and anxiety, self-harm and suicidal ideation and adjustments to traumatic life events.
A GP referral is required if you wish to claim a Medicare Rebate. First appointments without a GP referral are available with a Special Low Fee.
